All India Study Tour (AEX 402) was organized for the final year students for a period of 18 days. During the study tour, the students visited important Institutes related to agriculture and allied subjects located in Hyderabad, Jaipur, New Delhi, Haridwar, Dehradun, Punjab and Shimla to learn about their functions and activities. This study tour offers them knowledge on region specific cultivation of agricultural crops and their production technologies.

During the tour programme they got their exposure visit to national and international agricultural institutes. The institutes covered are International Crops Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE)National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD), National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NIAP) National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology (NRCPB), National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR)Pollution Control Research Institute (PCRI),Forest Research Institute (FRI), Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation (IISWC), Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS),Central Potato Research Institute (CPRI), Directorate of Mushroom Research (DMR) and Punjab Agricultural University(PAU).
